Gigi D'Alessio to play in Malta as part of world tour

Gigi D'Alessio embarked on his musical career back in the early 90’s and gained popularity during the 2000 edition of 'Sanremo', with his famous 'Non Dirgli Mai'.

Gigi D’Alessio and his band will be giving a concert at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta as part of his 'Malaterra' world tour on Sunday 17 April. 

Gigi D'Alessio embarked on his musical career back in the early 90’s and gained popularity during the 2000 edition of 'Sanremo', with his famous 'Non Dirgli Mai'. His popularity increased overseas, particularly in the United States and Canada, with his single 'Un Cuore Malato', which was a duet with Belgian-Sicilian singer Lara Fabian.

Gigi issued a Portughese and later a Brazilian version of this song as a duet with pop singer Wanessa Camargo. Among the songs boosting Gigi D'Alessio success are 'Un Nuovo Bacio', 'Tu che ne sai', 'Non mollare mai', 'Non riattaccare', and 'Il Cammino Dell Eta'. 

Gigi D'Alessio's concert in Malta forms part of his 'Malaterra World Tour' and he will be performing live with his band, on Sunday 17 April at 7.30pm, at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta. Tickets will be on sale as from today from www.cmcpromotionsmalta.com or by calling 9982 1250.
