'Don’t Stop Believing! A musical journey' - A show for musical theatre lovers

KFSL & SZP Birgu, for over 30 years, have been organising various theatrical and musical activities in the City of Vittoriosa, most recently with the reproduction of the masterpiece of the legendary Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar. They will again this year present a fun, enjoyable, delightful and memorable adaptation of a selection of favourite musicals.

“Don’t Stop Believing! A musical journey” will take the audience on a trip down memory lane, a journey through highlights from world famous musicals such as “Evita”, “Chicago”, “Mamma Mia”, “Grease” and many more.

The group boasts a history in musical theatre tradition, which stretches back to the late 70’s. For many young people, it is the very first chance for them to get on a stage and perform in front of an audience. It is a way of life, an integral part of the upbringing of many youths of yesteryear and today, a unique way of integrating local community life with the beauty of musical theatre.

Such a mix ensures the youthfulness of every show, every production, and every activity that has ever been organised over the years in the Main Auditorium in Vittoriosa, where every member of cast and crew has always been brought up and has always remained, over the years, young at heart.

The show runs through classics and the very best that the present has to offer, while all the while maintaining that essential light-heartedness and fun-factor which is surely the secret ingredient in the mix.
