Car accident leaves B'kara woman in critical condition
In the early hours of this morning, a car driven by a Marsa man collided with a parked car, ejecting its occupant and causing critical injuries
A 41-year-old Birkirkara woman is in critical condition after another vehicle collided with her parked car on the Birkirkara bypass.
The incident happened at about 1:30am, when police were called to the scene. A Volkswagen Golf, driven by a 21-year-old man from Marsa, collided with the woman's Toyota Paseo, which was parked on the side of the road.
The Toyota spun round on impact and the woman was thrown from the vehicle into a nearby field. The other driver suffered no injuries.
A magisterial enquiry is underway and the police are continuing their investigations.
