Female driver, passenger hospitalised following traffic accident

A 20-year-old female driver and her male passenger, 21, were hospitalised following a traffic accident in Triq is-Saqqajja, Rabat. The accident happened at around at 3.30am.

The police said that the woman was driving a Ford Ka, when for a reason she lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree.

Later, the passenger was certified as suffering from grievous injuries whilst the driver is suffering from slight injuries.

Police investigations are still underway.
