20 months in prison for man caught selling drugs

A 21-year-old was sentenced to a year and eight months in prison after he admitted to charges of trafficking cannabis and cocaine. 

The court heard how on 14 November 2015 and some weeks before, Deniro Bugeja sold the drugs that were in his possession.

He also admitted to relapsing.

Bugeja was ordered to pay a fine of €1,000.

The prosecution was led by police inspectors Malcolm Bondin and Gabriel Micallef.
