Residents evacuated after Sliema apartment fire

No one was injured this morning after a fire broke out in an apartment on Tower Road, Sliema

Residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure after a fire broke out on the ground floor, thought to have been caused by a malfunctioning tumble dryer. 

A medical team were on site and treated individuals for smoke inhalation.
