Argument in Gozo bar lands man in hospital
A 30-year-old man is suffering from grievous injuries after he was allegedly hit with a drinking glass during an argument

A 30-year-old man residing in Zebbug was hospitalised at the Gozo General Hospital suffering from grievous injuries after he was hit by a drinking glass during an argument in a bar.
The man, from Somalia, was transferred to the hospital shortly after 10pm. A second man, aged 35 and from Turkey, was also hospitalised and he is certified to have suffered slight injuries.
The incident happened at around 10.15pm in Triq ix-Xatt, iz-Zebbug. Two ambulances were called on site.
A magisterial inquiry has been launched; an investigation by the police is underway.
