Motorist, 70, grievously injured in Ta’ Qali collision

An elderly man suffered grievous injuries this morning after being involved in a traffic collision in Ta’ Qali.

According to police, a collision took place at about 8:00am between a Citroen Berlingo and a Fiat Punto.

The victim, a 70-year-old Gharghur resident at the wheel of the Citroen, was hospitalised for treatment, while the other motorist, a 44-year-old Santa Venera man, was unharmed.

Police investigations are ongoing.
