Tattoo helps identify dead man recovered from Qormi shaft

A man whose lifeless body was recovered from a building site in Qormi yesterday has been identified as a 34-year-old Qormi resident

A victim whose lifeless body was recovered from the shaft of an abandoned and unfinished warehouse building in Qormi yesterday has been identified from a tattoo on the his right arm.

The discovery was made at around 12:40pm in an empty building in Triq il-Mastrudaxxa.

The police confirmed that the man was 34 years old and was a resident of Qormi.

TVM quoted a source as saying that the man was known to the police, having had a drug habit for 15 years.
