Gozo motorcyclist suffers grievous injuries after losing control of bike

A 62-year-old man from Xagħra was grievously injured in Xewkija yesterday evening after losing control of his motorcycle and falling off.

The accident took place on Triq Tal-Ħamrija, at about 6.15pm.

An ambulance conveyed the victim to the Gozo General Hospital for medical treatment.

A magisterial inquiry has been appointed into the case.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
