A woman has been grievously injured after being hit by a car on Wednesday in Zabbar.
The incident occurred at 8pm in Triq in-Nevew.
The police said an investigation found that the 56-year-old woman was hit by a Toyota Vitz while the vehicle was being parked. The vehicle was being driven by a 28-year-old woman.
An ambulance took the victim to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
