Online election results on the Gov.Mt portal

The Department of Information will be publishing the official results of the General and Local Council Elections 2013 on the gov.mt portal:  http://www.gov.mt

First to be published on the evening of Saturday 9th March, will be the percentage turnouts of voters.

Counting of votes of the General Elections will start on Sunday 10th March and the Department will start publishing the official results of each district during the evening. Online publication of all counts will continue uninterruptedly throughout Sunday night and onto Monday, till the counting process is fully concluded.

Counting of votes of the Local Councils' Elections will start on Saturday 16th March and the official results of each locality will be published during the evening. Online publication of all counts will continue uninterruptedly throughout Saturday night and onto Sunday, till the counting process is fully concluded.

The general public will also be able to follow Election proceedings on the Department's Official Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/DOImalta) and Twitter: DOImalta (#Malta2013 / #GeneralElections2013 / #LCelections2013).

The Department of Information has carried out research on past General Elections and compiled a number of comparative charts which it is making available through Flickr at the following link:

The charts cover the past 8 General Elections and include statistical data both by district and by Election.
