In the Press: PN publishes deeds for transfer of public lands to Enemalta

The PN has published a series of deeds on the transfer of public lands to Enemalta just before the government finalized the energy company's incorporation as a plc, before its 33% acquisition by Shanghai Electric Power. 

The Times of Malta

Gas distributors have won a concession granting them 15 years of government subsidies in return for providing door-to-door service to remote areas of the islands. The concession applies to 31 distributors.

PN leader Simon Busuttil said that the inauguration of the interconnector will make clear the difference between a government that makes promises and one that delivers. The interconnector project began during a Nationalist administration.

A board of inquiry has laid the collapse of the student smart card system at the feet of education ministers from three consecutive Nationalist administrations, between 1999 and 2012.

Neither pro- nor anti-spring hunting campaigners have been given the possibility to monitor the upcoming referendum vote, while the Nationalist and Labour parties have. Alternattiva Demokratika, part of the Coalition Against Spring Hunting, was not given the possibility either.
