In the Press: 25 encroachment permits issued before 2013 election, NAO finds

An investigation by the National Audit Office has revealed that 25 new encroachment permits were issued in the three months leading up to the 2013 election, when MP Jason Azzopardi was lands minister. Azzopardi himself had authorised 13 of these permits.

The planned gas pipeline between Malta and Sicily should cost about €300 million and is a 'positive' step' towards energy diversification in the EU, Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic said yesterday. He visited the Delimara project site and was given a tour of the facilities.
