Libyan PM in Saudi Arabia

Al-Thinni was responding to a formal invitation, extended by the Saudi government, to visit the kingdom and meet government officials.

Libyan Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thinni will be in Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a ministerial delegation.

A spokesperson with the Libyan media and culture authority said that Al-Thinni was responding to a formal invitation, extended by the Saudi government, to visit the kingdom and meet government officials.

“The PM believes in the importance of Libyan relationships with Saudi and he is aiming from this visit to enhance the Libyan Saudi cooperation in different fields,” headded.

Saudi Arabia has announced its strong support of the Libyan House of Representatives, which it recognises as the only legitimate authority in the country. Last month, it was said to have pressurised Sudan into adopting the same position.
