Now in its sixth edition, the Malta Comic Con has firmly etched itself into the calendar of every comic book and pop culture lover on the island.

Going by the reaction of international creators present, it seems as though the Con is a vibrant but "relaxed" affair, offering a more intimate interaction between fans and creators when compared to its more corporate and hectic international counterparts.

Boasting guests from America and Europe, as well as a selection of up-and-coming local talent, the Con - organised by Wicked Comics - allows visitors to mingle with talented creators, as well as hunt around for collectibles and bargains.

Striving to provide a 'holistic' experience of comic book fandom, the Con also includes cosplay and gaming initatives under its wing.

Malta Comic Con will be open at St James Cavalier today until 6pm and tomorrow from 11am to 7pm.
