GAIA Foundation calls on MEP candidates to endorse weather modification petition

Petition to investigate and regulate geoclimate engineering and weather modification in Europe accepted by European Parliament’s Committee of Petitions.

Environmental NGO Gaia Faoundation is calling upon Maltese MEP candidates to endorse a petition to investigate and regulate geo (climate) engineering and weather modification in Europe – which petition has been accepted by the European Parliament’s Committee of Petitions.

“In the wake of the European Parliament’s acceptance of the petition, Gaia calls upon all MEP candidates to support this decision, and in addition, also calls on the public to pursue the matter with its European Parliament representatives,” it said.

The petition, which was presented last year by a platform of environemnt NGO’s called Skyguards, has now been accepted by the European Parliament’s Committee of Petitions.

The petition calls on to the European Parliament to carry out an investigation into the modification programs and geoengineering in Europe, “including an analysis of soil, water, air, flora, fauna, persons and animals. by independent experts, for the purpose of compiling evidence for legal action against those responsible for these actions against public health and security, and those aiding and abetting them".

“The Committee on Petitions considered your petition and decided that the issues which you raise are admissible in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament, insofar as the subject matter falls within the remit of the European Union.

"The committee began its examination of your petition and decided to ask the European Commission to conduct a preliminary examination of the various aspects of the problem,” Erminia Mazzoni, the President of the Petitions Committee said.

Last month, Gaia Foundation called for more transparency and information from airline companies on cloud formations and their possible links to geo engineering.
