In May, 400 million voters in 28 European countries will have the chance to say who they believe should be the next President of the European Commission when they take part in parliamentary elections.
On 15 May, in a unique television event hosted by the European Parliament, Eurovision will give citizens the opportunity to put their questions to the five candidates seeking the EU's top job.

For 90 minutes, five candidates seeking the Commission presidency will face questions from award-winning RAI anchor Monica Maggioni. Voters will help shape the show and the agenda by offering their questions and comments via social media.
The event effectively allows European voters the opportunity to put the big questions to those seeking the EU´s top job, in a way that has never happened before.
The participants will be Jean-Claude Juncker of the European Peoples Party, Martin Schulz, the President of the European Parliament, representing the Socialists and Democrats, Guy Verhofstadt of the Liberals and Democrats, Ska Keller of the Green/EFA and Alexis Tsipras of the European Left.
