Chris Brown – another meltdown

After pleading guilty to abuse and being slapped with a restraining order by his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, rapper Chris Brown's quest for redemption has been cut short after yet another violent outburst.

Following an interview with the CBS programme Good Morning America on Tuesday, Brown allegedly threw a chair at a dressing room window, before ripping his shirt off in anger and launching into a verbal attack on the show's backstage staff.

He was escorted outside the CBS studios by security with full tattoos on display.

While Brown kept relatively calm as the interview with Robin Roberts was underway, the 21-year-old singer showed definite signs of irritation when asked about the much-publicised 2009 incident where he assaulted his then girlfriend - the hugely popular singer Rihanna - and was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service.

"Definitely this album is what I want people to talk about and not this stuff that happened two years ago," Brown insisted after the Roberts kept alluding to the infamous incident.

After his outburst at the station, Brown calibrated his rage on the micro-blogging site Twitter, writing 'I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t.' The post was quickly removed.

Brown's appearance on the show was meant to serve as promotion for his new album, F.A.M.E (Forgiving All My Enemies), which was released on March 18.
