Worldwide Ship Agencies Association general meeting held in Malta

The Corinthia San Gorg hotel in Malta was selected by the Worldwide Ship Agencies Association (WWSA) as the venue for their annual general meeting earlier this month.

WWSA is one of the leading international ship agencies associations and is made up of 35 shipping agents covering the USA, Europe, Mediterranean, India, Pakistan and countries in Africa including Nigeria, Senegal and Djibouti. Focal Maritime Services is the associate member in Malta.

The aim of the association is to present a reliable network of unrelated, independent and highly professional multi-modal agents to ship owners, charterers and operators, in order to provide instant information and back-up to the shipping and transport world wherever required.

Through this coverage, owners are not only ensured with the highest level of professional service, but also with credit worthiness of the service supplier.

WWSA does not restrict itself to mere agency activities. Members specialise in logistics, chartering and other shipping activities making the WWSA member network diverse and relevant to more than just the agency business.
