Syrians accused of Hamrun bar fracas

Three Syrian nationals were charged with having smashed up Tal-Webbes bar in Hamrun during a family argument.

Three Syrian men pleaded not guilty to a series of charges following a fracas at Tal-Webbes bar in Hamrun.

Police arrested the men after a fight broke out when one of the Syrian men, who was married to the family of the bar owner turned up to settle an issue with his estranged wife's family.

The Syrian's brother and friend were then involved in the fight, which led to hundreds of euro's in damages inside the bar.
