Repeat offender handed probation order for 2010 theft

Man placed under probation order for three years after he admitting to stealing some €100 from St.Patrick’s football complex

A 52-year-old Senglea man was placed under a probation order for three years after he admitted to stealing €100 four years ago.

Inspector Fabian Fleri told the Magistrate Doreen Clarke how, at around 10am on 5 October 2010, Domenic Cuschieri had stolen some €100 from St.Patrick’s football complex. The inspector added that Cuschieri was a relapser.
 
Cuschieri did not contest the charges and pleaded guilty.

The magistrate took into account his early guilty plea, his criminal record  and the fact that he had started a drug rehabilitation programme and placed Cuschieri  under a three-year probation order
