Motorcyclist hospitalised after Qormi car crash

A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Luqa was hospitalised with grievous injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car in Mdina Road, Qormi at around 11:20am.

Police said in a statement that the young man was riding a Kymco motorcycle and crashed into a Peugeot 306 that was being driven by a 20-year-old man from Qormi.

Paramedics escorted the man to Mater Dei for treatment, where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
