Elderly man and woman hospitalised after car overturns in Dingli

A 77-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man, both from Dingli, were hospitalised after their car overturned this afternoon.

Police said that the incident took place in Triq ir-Rabat, Dingli at around 1:15pm. The person at the wheel lost control of the vehicle, a Mitsubishi Pajero Junior, and it flipped over.

The two people were rushed to Mater Dei, where they were certified as suffering from serious injuries.
