Construction worker seriously injured after fall in St Julian's

The 63-year-old Safi resident fell while doing work on a construction site on Dragunara Street
 

A construction worker has been hospitalised after falling at a construction site in St Julian's, the Police have said.

The incident took place on Wednesday at around 1pm on Triq id-Dragunara in St Julian's. The man, a 63-year-old Safi resident, fell during works at a construction site.

Members of the Civil Protection Department helped the man out of the site and an ambulance conveyed him to Mater Dei hospital. He is certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
