Construction worker grievously hurt at Valletta building site

A 40-year-old Serbian construction worker has sustained grievous injuries after a metal tool fell on him.  

The incident occurred at 10am in Triq il-Kapuċċini, Valletta.

An ambulance was called onsite and took the victim to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment, where it was later certified he was suffering from grievous injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.
