Government announces increase in energy benefit
The government has announced an increase in the energy benefit for families
Families with one person who is a pensioner, or pensioners who live alone, will be awarded an increase of €25. There are some 13,000 families who will receive this increase.
A total of 28,000 will receive an increase of €15 in compensation for the increase in the price of gas.
