President Abela visits Vienna embassy

President George Abela paid a short visit to the Maltese Embassy in Vienna, where he met several members of the Maltese community living in Austria. 

The President was welcomed by Ambassador Keith Azzopardi and the embassy staff.

While expressing his appreciation for his visit, Azzopardi also reported on the work carried out by the Embassy in Vienna especially in the bilateral and multilateral sectors.

On Tuesday, Abela met with his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fisher.

George Abela is currently on a state visit to Austria and Slovakia, and is being accompanied by Foreign Affairs minister George Vella.
