President’s business card in braille

The President of the Republic’s business cards have been made in braille in order to be accessible to the viusually impaired.

The move was welcomed by the National Commission for Persons with Disability (KNPD), pointing out that accessibility to the visually impaired did not stop at pavements and buildings.

“Accessibility is also about education, work, services and information given to the public,” the KNPD said.

The commission urged the public and public entities to follow the President’s example in ensuring that their services are equally accessible to all. The KNPD said it was available to give all the necessary information to help entities reach out to all members of society.
