President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and Health Minister Konrad Mizzi meet Barts Hospital directors in London
President of the Republic Marie Louise Coleiro Preca together with Minister for Energy and Health Konrad Mizzi and Malta’s High Commissioner to UK Norman Hamilton held a meeting with the directors of Barts Hospital in London.
According to the President’s official Facebook page, the meeting was “highly important”. Negotiations, it said, were currently underway for Malta’s benefit.
Earlier this year, it was announced that an agreement was reached between the Health Ministry and the Queen Mary University of London for the opening of a medical school in Malta.
The agreement will see the opening of a campus of the Barts and The London School of Medicine.
