In the Press: Germany will support UN initiatives in Libya - Merkel

PM Joseph Muscat pushed for the issue of Libya's instability to be higher on the EU agenda. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Germany would support UN initiatives in Libya.

Home affairs minister Carmelo Abela said yesterday that the government had no information relating to terror threats to Malta. Although the Armed Forces have deployed more personnel on shift, Abela maintained that Malta's alert level remained green, the lowest level.
