Gas cylinder prices to decrease by €1 in March

Gas cylinders weighing 12kg will cheapen from €18 to €17 for the months of March and April, the Ministry of Energy said.

In a statement, they pointed out that this will be the cheapest price of gas cylinders in this period for three years and that gas cylinders had cost €19.70 in the last April under the previous administration.

“This policy of stability has led to a low inflation rate, as reduced uncertainty about future prices has made it easier for people to plan their expenses from beforehand,” the government said. “This is in contrast to the monthly shifts in gas prices under the previous administration.”
