In the Press: Italian rescuers struggle to cope with influx of migrants

Italian authorities have received 38 distress calls over four days as migrants flee Libya in crisis proportions. The coast guard have rescued more than 5,600 migrants since Friday and a further 2,500 yesterday evening.
