Transport Malta announces traffic diversions in three localities

Transport Malta has announced three diversions taking place over the coming week.

Part of Kordin Industrial Estate, close to the Hockey Club, will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday 8 June to Friday 12 June 2015 between 15:00hrs and 03:00hrs, due to filming of ‘The Tempest’.

Vehicular traffic to and from Kordin Industrial Estate towards Dock 7 will be diverted onto Triq l-Isqof Buhagiar.

Access to Kordin Industrial Estate will be available at all times.

In St Julians, part of Triq San Ġorġ, from the ‘Love’ monument to Triq Spinola, will be closed to traffic on Sunday 7 June 2015 between 7:00hrs and 17:30hrs, due to the  annual Festa Lapsi organised by the Local Council of St. Julian’s.

All vehicular traffic coming from Triq it-Torri Tas-Sliema will be diverted onto Triq Mikelanġ Borg and Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli.

All vehicular traffic coming from the centre of St. Julian’s will proceed towards the roundabout junction in Triq ir-Ross and to Triq Sant’ Andrija.

Maintenance work will be taking place in Triq il-Kungress Ewkaristiku Mosta, with the road in question to be closed on Monday 8 June 2015 between 20:00hrs and 02:00hrs.

Buses coming from Mosta centre will be diverted onto Triq il-Kbira, Triq Franġisku Pisani, Vjal il-Labour and Triq il-Mosta.
