In the Press: Couple fined after running onto airport apron in pursuit of departing plane

Two Italian travelers faced a court yesterday, after attempting to stop their flight from leaving without them by forcing open a security door at the airport and rushing out onto the tarmac. The Lecce couple were fined €2,329 each.

Labour whip Godfrey Farrugia said that Michael Falzon, facing criticism for having met with Mark Gaffarena before the contentious Valletta expropriation, had not informed Farrugia that he had traveled to the UK with Gaffarena in the past. Falzon admitted to the trip to media.
