In the Press: Two charged with defrauding €2 million in tax on smuggled cigarettes

Police discovered a large cigarette smuggling operation, with a Customs official and a Freeport employee being charged with being accomplices in defrauding the government of some €2 million in taxes.

A volunteer working with a local Church of Scotland micro-financing bank called on British PM David Cameron to follow the example of initiatives helping asylum seekers. The comments came after Cameron referred to migrants as a 'swarm', which the volunteer called dehumanizing.
