Death toll rises to at least to 13 during the rescue search as a man’s body is discovered under a collapsed hotel in Turkey.

Turkey’s rescue workers continue to search for earthquake survivors and discover the body of a man increasing the death toll to at least 13.

The man’s body was discovered in the eastern city Van under Bayram Hotel which collapsed yesterday. Officials said that the man may have been in the office of an intercity bus company underneath the hotel.

Atsushi Miyazaki, a Japanese aid worker, came to Turkey to assess damage and distribute relief supplies to survivors died in a hospital after suffering injuries under the rubble of the Bayram hotel.

Gathering around campfires near the hotel, relatives waited for news of their loved ones throughout the night in the cold.

Officials said that they hope to finish the search by today after a month of searching since the earthquake struck on 23 October.
