More bodies were recovered by rescuers in Turkey following earthquake on Wednesday raising the death toll to at least 32.

It was reported that 25 buildings collapsed and emergency teams were still searching for survivors among the debris.

Two hotels hosting many workers and journalists were among the buildings which collapsed.

People who had remained in their homes following the earthquake which struck the Van region in October has created huge demand for temporary housing as they now seek shelter.

Most of the properties were empty following evacuation in October.
