Updated | Suspect arrested after shooting in Ansbach

The killings took place in the southern town of Tiefenthal, near Ansbach

German police say they have arrested a man who allegedly shot and killed two people in Bavaria and then fled by car.

Police spokeswoman Simone Wiesenberg told n-tv television that the gunman had been arrested but provided no other details.

Earlier, spokesman Bert Rauenbusch told N24 news that a man and a woman had been killed in the morning attack. Rauenbusch said a man shot at people from his car and that at least one other person was wounded.
