Dominic Scheda overall winner at 1st MBPF Championship Contest

Malta Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation has organised its first championship contest last Saturday 2nd of October at the Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta.

During this event, nine athletes competed in 4 different categories which were; Novices category, Men’s Physique - 75kgs, Men’s Physique - 80kgs and Men’s Bodybuilding.

The winners for every category are;

Novices: Winner – Noel Attard, runner up Keith Agius and third place Clinton Magro

Men’s Physique - 75kgs: Winner Keith Agius, runner up Andrew Farrugia and third place Joseph Farrugia

Men’s Physique - 80kgs: Winner Noel Attard, runner up Clinton Magro and third place Rodrick Xuereb

Men’s Bodybuilding: Winner Dominic Scheda, runner up – Ian Borg

Overall Men’s Physique: Winner –Noel Attard

Overall Show Winner : Dominic Scheda

Apart from trophies to the first three competitors in every category, prize money has been rewarded to the Overall Men’s Physique winner, runner up Men’s Bodybuilding and Overall Men’s Bodybuilding winner.

Mr. Claudio Galea, who is the Malta Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation’s president was very satisfied with the level of competition and high level of preparation of the participating athletes and is looking forward for the next championship contest which will be held in May 2011, with the winners from this event to represent our country at the European championships.
