APS Funds SICAV plc donates €500 to ALIVE Charity Foundation

APS Funds SICAV plc has become the latest in a long list of supporters for the ALIVE Foundation, as the company has just donated €500 to the charity organisation.

The funds will go towards children’s cancer medical research, more specifically it will target rare cancers prevalent in children.

Over the last 3 years, ALIVE Charity Foundation has donated over €235,000 for cancer research.

A team of 29 cyclists from ALIVE Foundation are currently heading up to Zagreb, Croatia and on the 8th of July will start cycling towards the Vatican City in Rome. This challenge will see them cover over 1,100km in 7 days and climbing over 12,500m in vertical ascent.

“We are proud to making this contribution to medical research on children’s cancer. This is a cause we fully support because of the positive change I am sure the research will set motion to," Sandro Baluci said about the initiative.

ALIVE has so far collected around 70% of the funds needed for this year’s projects. Donations can be made by SMS to 50617364 (€2.33), 50618913 (€6.99) or 50619208 (€11.65) or via Paypal.
