England has 114 representatives heading to the tournament out of a total of 736 players listed in the official squads published by FIFA on Thursday.

There are 81 players based in Italy while 78 make their living playing for German clubs.

In the England national squad, 22 of the 23 players are based in their home country, with Celtic's Fraser Forster - north of the border in Scotland - the only exception.

Russia go one better than England with every single member of their pool based in their domestic league.

Bayern Munich are sending 15 players to South America with various countries, including seven with Germany, a tally unmatched by any other club.

"I hope that every player has a good World Cup and that they enjoy the tournament," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.

Manchester United have 14 players travelling to the competition while 13 are going from Spanish giants Barcelona.
