FIFA had announced Sunday that Lopez, who recorded the official World Cup song, We Are One, with rapper Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, could not perform with them at the opening ceremony on Thursday in Sao Paulo "for production issues."

"FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) are delighted to announce that we will have the full-line up of stars available to perform the official song We Are One this Thursday," FIFA said in a statement Tuesday.

Lopez's agent issued a statement which noted that her previous exit from the opening ceremony line-up had been "premature."

"Jennifer has always wanted to participate in the World Cup opening ceremonies," the statement said. "We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics."

"Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of futbol. She will be there."

The ceremony will climax with the official song by Lopez, Pitbull, Leitte and Brazilian drumming collective Olodum.
