Joseph Mallia, Daniel Abela, Mario Cassar, Jason Borg, Jonathan Gatt Coleiro and Mark Muscat each won a pair of tickets to watch an English Barclays Premier League or Italian Serie A TIM match after taking part in a recent competition.

The winners visited iconic stadiums including Manchester United’s Old Trafford, Liverpool’s Anfield, the Olimpico in Rome, the Juventus Stadium in Turin and Manchester City’s Etihad to watch matches which also featured the likes of Inter and AC Milan as well as Arsenal.

The tickets for these top flight matches were presented to the winners in January after they participated in a competition which ran from October to December 2014. To enter, all GO Sports TV subscribers had to do was send an SMS to 7993 5993 answering the question, ‘Do you prefer English or Italian Football?’

Joe Mallia, one of the winners, said, ‘I would like to thank GO for this memorable opportunity. I have always dreamed of watching Manchester United at Old Trafford and so decided to try my luck and enter this competition. Now, my dream has come true.’
