Country music artist Marty Rivers launches new album
Globe-hopping Maltese country music artist Marty Rivers will be launching his new album on Wednesday, September 14 at Murphy's Irish Bar, Qawra.
After a number of singles from his last album charting high on various international country charts, Maltese country music artist Marty Rivers is launching his new album – Midnight Sky, which is Rivers’ third full-length release.
His very first self-titled album produced three international radio hits, including ‘The Lord is Coming Soon’, which up to number 1 on the international gospel charts and number 3 on the American Country Gospel Music charts.
Then came ‘Out of the Blue’, his second album, which was recorded in Nashville and produced a number of international country radio hits including the single ‘Made in Mexico’ which hit the number 1 spot on the Ramgatie International Country Music charts back in 1998.
Now from the very heart of Nashville, Tennessee comes Marty Rivers’ latest offering. Midnight Sky is a collection of 12 songs, eleven of which are written by Rivers himself in collaboration, once again, with Joe Spiteri.
It was recorded in Nashville with some of the industry’s top class musicians and undoubtedly shows the versatility in Marty’s music both in style and subject.
The first radio single – Run angel Run – from this new album did very well as it already reached the number 8 spot on the Hotdisc Country Music Top 40.
