German diver dies in Gozo

A German woman, 46, lost her life while diving in Gozo. According to the police’s communications office, the woman was diving when she found herself in difficulty.

The woman was diving with her husband in Xatt l-Ahmar, Ghajnsielem. With the help of other persons on site, the woman was brought to shore. She however lost her life and was certified dead on site.

A magisterial inquiry has been appointed.
