Updated | Suspicious luggage outside Palestine embassy turns out to be false alarm

Explosives Ordinance Disposal examine suspicious luggage found abandoned in front of the Palestine embassy in Tal-Ibragg.

Officials from the Explosives Ordinance Disposal (EOD) were this afternoon called in to examine a luggage abandoned in front of the Palestine Embassy in Tal-Ibragg.

The abandoned luggage raised suspicions of containing explosives after it was spotted outside the embassy's main entrance.

EOD officials, however, alleviated any suspicions as the luggage was found to be empty.

Members of the Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU) and district police secured the area.
