Two drivers injured, one grievously, in head-on crash
23-year-old man grievously injured after head-on collision in Ghaxaq
A 23-year-old man was grievously injured in a head-on crash this morning in Ghaxaq.
The incident occurred at around 5:30am along the Ghaxaq bypass when a Toyota Vitz driven by a 23-year-old man from Marsaxlokk was involved in a head-on collision with a Land Rover driven by a 46-year-old man from Zejtun.
The 23-year-old was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital where he was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
The driver of the Land Rover suffered slight injuries.
Both vehicles suffered extensive damage.
Police investigations are ongoing.
