Two injured in separate hit-and-run incidents

A 40-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and a 44-year-old pedestrian suffer slight injuries in two separate incidents

A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were injured yesterday in separate incidents, believed to be cases of hit-and-run.

At 9:15pm yesterday a 40-year-old motorcyclist, riding at Kawasaki ZR 750 in Tarxien, lost control of his vehicle. It is believed that his motorcyle was struck by another vehicle, causing him to lose control. The rider, from Paola, suffered serious injuries as a result.

At 10:45pm, a 44-year-old Hal Qormi woman was struck by a vehicle in Triq it-Turisti, St Paul’s Bay. She suffered slight injuries as a result.
