Man grievously injured after crashing car into a wall

A man was grievously injured early this morning when he lost control of his car, colliding with a parked vehicle, then crashing into a wall

A man was grievously injured in a car accident early this morning in Burmarrad Road, Burmarrad.

At about 3:50am, police were called on the scene where a Toyota Lancruiser had crashed into a wall.

Preliminary investigations showed that the 44-year-old St Paul’s Bay resident who was at the wheel was driving towards St Paul’s Bay when he lost control of the car and collided with a parked vehicle before crashing into the wall.

The man was hospitalised and was later declared to be suffering from grievous injuries, although police confirmed that he was not in danger of dying.

Police investigations are still underway.
